Sabbra Cadabra : A celebration of Black Sabbath & Ozzy
Black Sabbath forged heavy metal’s blueprint in Birmingham in 1968, pairing Tony Iommi’s monolithic riffs with Geezer Butler’s ominous bass, Bill Ward’s thunderous drums, and Ozzy Osbourne’s eerie, wounded wail. Their lyrics explored war, madness, addiction, and the occult, turning dread into catharsis on classics like “Paranoid” and “War Pigs.” Ozzy, the band’s original frontman, became a solo icon after 1979, blending dark theatrics with vulnerable melody on hits like “Crazy Train.” Infamous yet oddly endearing, he’s the Prince of Darkness with a human core—chaotic, funny, and surprisingly tender beneath the bats and headlines that shaped rock history forever worldwide.

DODGY
Legends of the UK live scene, there’s not many festivals or indeed towns that these boys haven’t played in the 34 years they’ve been together. In that time, they have released five albums, sold over 2 million records, been streamed over 50 million times worldwide, and 12 Top 40 singles, including the massive hit 'Good Enough' - officially one of the most played tracks on British radio in the last 30 years.
The recent Anniversary Tours of Dodgy’s classic albums, Free Peace Sweet - a fan favourite and deemed a classic album of the era, spawning hits such as ‘In A Room’, ‘If You’re Thinking Of Me’, ‘Found You’ and of course, ‘Good Enough’, and the hugely successful shows for Homegrown - 'Staying Out For The Summer', ‘So Let Me Go Far’, ‘Melodies Haunt You’ and the modern classic, ‘Grassman’- that culminated in unforgettable nights at Shepherds Bush Empire and The Forum, have seen the busiest years for the band since the crazy days of the mid 90’s.
Dodgy are a rare entity nowadays as the band still boast the original line up of Nigel Clark, Mathew Priest and Andy Miller, which is a miracle considering the scrapes and conditions they have been in over their career but they are better and more energized than ever, which is partly down to some clever signings over the years to add depth and beauty to their squad, with Stu Thoy on bass and multi-instrumentalist, Graham Mann. And it’s this line up that is currently in the studio in Wales working on the highly anticipated follow up to the critically acclaimed album What Are We Fighting For, that will be released at the start of 2026. Dodgy actually released their Ian Broudie produced debut album in 1993 before the whole Britpop phenomenon kicked off but by having a broader appeal and being blessed with being nimble and possessing great balance, the boys managed to surf that wave with alarming aplomb. Since then they have toured and played with everyone from The Who, Oasis, Blur and even The Jacksons. Dodgy’s legacy as one of the standout British bands of the 1990s remains intact and have become a cherished part of British musical history.
Bill Ryder-Jones
Bill Ryder-Jones is a quietly magnetic figure in British music—a composer of fragile beauty and emotional candour. Emerging from The Coral, he traded jangling indie for introspective solo work steeped in orchestration and melancholy. His songs feel like whispered confessions, blending classical flourishes with lo-fi intimacy. Albums such as “West Kirby County Primary” and “Yawn” reveal a man unafraid to explore vulnerability, grief, and humour in equal measure. Rooted in Merseyside, his music carries a coastal wistfulness—at once nostalgic and searching, like tides that never quite settle.

Big Truck (Laurie from Soft Play & Sam from Ladybird)
Big Truck is the sound of Laurie Vincent stepping into a different light. Known for the raw intensity of SOFT PLAY, here he trades abrasion for atmosphere - crafting songs that move between indie-pop melody, cinematic sweep, and offbeat charm. Formed alongside longtime friend Sam Coppins and a tight-knit group of players (Asa Thallon & Justin Myles), the band feels both instinctive and expansive. Their music blends jangled hooks reminiscent of The Cure and The Smiths with richer, widescreen textures, all anchored by lyrics that are candid, wry, and deeply human - balancing life’s small joys with its inevitable lows. Big Truck’s debut album is immediate and unpolished in the best way. It’s an album about acceptance of mistakes, of contradictions, of the messy middle ground, and the quiet confidence that comes with it.

Known for harmonies that soar and lyrics that speak to resilience, love, and hope, Skinny Living make music that feels unpolished and deeply human, with songs that linger long after the last note fades.
Formed after a chance meeting at an open mic in Wakefield, the band unites the haunted yet
hopeful voice of Belfast-born frontman Ryan Johnston with the intricate guitar work and harmonies of Danny Hepworth. Their name reflects their roots: “Skinny Living is a term that describes the financial reality and lifestyle of the working class. Hard graft on a low income with a lust for life, passion for family and an optimistic attitude about the future.”
After the success of their album ‘Day By Day’ that claimed the UK No. 1 Independent Album chart position in 2024, Skinny Living return with their latest release, EP 9, the culmination of a plan set in motion almost a decade ago. Inspired by Nikola Tesla’s 3-6-9 theory, the trilogy was envisioned as a creative cycle that would bring Skinny Living’s first era to a close. These four songs are their most fearless yet intimate, anthemic and sonically daring, capturing the honesty and harmony that have defined the band while pointing toward evolution.

GENERAL LEVY
General Levy was born in Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal, London on 28 April 1971. He is of Trinidadian descent. Levy’s formative years were spent in Harlesden and Wembley in the London Borough of Brent in northwest London. Levy’s musical influence was developed in the area, collecting dancehall tapes, beginning in 1981. At the age of 12, General Levy began writing lyrics and went on to form his first sound system with friends, two years later, named Third Dimension.
General Levy’s first major releases were with the independent record label Fashion Records, who signed a distribution deal with London Records for the re-releases of the tracks he had recorded. He had earlier releases with the record producers Lloydy Crucial and Robbo Ranx (later of BBC 1xtra), but these were mainly tracks that were hits on the underground dancehall scene. General Levy was ostracized by the UK jungle scene in 1994, due to mis-reported comments he made relating to his collaboration with M-Beat on “Incredible”. He had claimed in an interview with The Face that “I run jungle at the moment”. This controversy has since died down and he is now being cited as one of the 25 UK MCs “who changed the game”.
“Incredible” was featured in the film Ali G Indahouse, and as a TV advertising campaign by Honda. General Levy briefly collaborated with Rocco Barker of Flesh for Lulu in the band The Space Police. Levy also featured on the song “Only God Can Judge Me” by R&B singer Mark Morrison.
Levy featured on many sound systems in the late 1980s and early 1990s, such as Java One love and Tippertone Sound.
His collaborations with dub producer Joe Ariwa appear on several releases including “In the Ghetto” and “Be Conscious & Wise: Dub Showcase”. Levy’s latest release with Joe is a Dancehall remix of Champagne Body.

Matthew and the Atlas : Temple 10th Anniversary Tour
Matthew and the Atlas is the project of Hampshire-based songwriter Matt Hegarty - one of the first artists signed to Communion Records. Over fifteen years and seven albums, he has traversed a range of musical territories from classic acoustic folk to synth-laden electronica and guitar-led alt-rock, touring extensively across the UK, Europe and the US with the likes of Mumford & Sons, Bear's Den and The Civil Wars, and earning the tag "British Bon Iver" from Q Magazine along the way.
Temple was recorded in Nashville in 2015 with production duo Foreign Fields and released in April 2016, producing fan favourite Elijah. Later that year, Hegarty headed back into the studio with the rest of the band and producer Ian Grimble to rework the songs using the instruments they had - acoustic guitar, harp, clarinet, banjo, piano and double bass. Temple Unplugged came out quietly in December 2016 and found an audience Hegarty hadn't expected - over the years it has become the record fans mention most at shows.
This autumn, Hegarty heads out as a three-piece alongside longtime collaborators Emma Gatrill and Alex Roberts to celebrate the tenth anniversary of both records — a rare chance to hear Temple Unplugged performed from start to finish, in the intimate spirit in which it was originally made, alongside favourites from across the MATA catalogue.
"A very rare talent." - Clash
Lady Nade
Blending roots, folk, soul, Americana, jazz, blues and pop, the record offers both sanctuary and encouragement. It features the powerful BBC Introducing supported singles already released: the anthemic ‘One Of Us’; the soul-soothing ‘Rainbow’; and the retro-infused, inspired pop of ‘Sober’, as championed by Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 6 Music.
The album explores themes of self-expression, emotional resilience, mental wellness, and personal evolution, anchored by her distinctive, soothing yet powerful voice and a unique blend of heartfelt storytelling, uplifting melodies, and genre fluidity. ‘Identity’ is about being seen, being heard, and discovering the freedom that comes with fully inhabiting who you are. It is a soulful exploration of self-love: an invitation to celebrate and accept ourselves, and each other.
Lady Nade writes with honesty and vulnerability, balancing emotional depth with warmth, positivity and hope. While her songs are often uplifting and joyful, there is always authenticity at their core, rooted in lived experience and a belief in music as a powerful force for connection, compassion and healing. - Americana UK
Lady Nade will bring ‘Identity’ to life in a series of intimate live shows, accompanied by a six-piece band of some of the UK’s finest musicians. These performances are designed to be emotionally immersive, offering a space for connection, reflection, and shared experience.
Dave McCabe - The Zutons
After recently stepping out with his debut solo single “When You’re Young”, Dave McCabe is heading back on the road this November for a run of UK dates, joined once again by special guest, James Jay Lewis.
Best known as the voice and songwriter behind The Zutons, McCabe’s move into solo territory has already made a strong impression. “When You’re Young” has been tremendously well received and already a firm live favourite.
Earlier this year, McCabe and Lewis played a run of shows together that quickly gathered momentum, with packed rooms and a great response night after night. This new tour builds on that, taking them to more venues across the UK through November and into December.
McCabe’s set draws from material throughout his rich writing career, from Zutons classics, to songs he wrote for other artists and glimpses of his new music, the second of which will be released in advance of the tour.
Jay Lewis is a perfect fit for the bill. A Liverpool-born multi-instrumentalist, he’s worked with Cast and The La's over the years, and has been steadily building his own solo following. With songs that carry a classic, melodic British song writing style, and his outstanding musicianship, the two team up together both on their own and each other’s music.
The tour kicks off in Barnoldswick on November 5th and wraps up in Liverpool in mid-December, taking in stops in Birmingham, London, Glasgow and more along the way.

STIPE: A celebration of REM
FFO REM, WIlco, Pearl Jam
R.E.M. emerged from Athens, Georgia, sounding like a whispered secret that somehow filled stadiums. Led by Michael Stipe’s elliptical lyrics and earnest mumble, the band fused jangly guitars, folk melancholy, punk urgency, and intellectual curiosity. They wrote songs that felt private yet political, dreamy yet grounded, inviting listeners to search for meaning rather than handing it over. From college-radio obscurity to global influence, R.E.M. proved alternative music could be humane, literate, and hugely popular without losing its soul. Their legacy echoes in countless bands who learned that mystery, melody, and conviction could coexist—quiet rebellion disguised as pop brilliance forever. Join us as the band STIPE perform their songs as we celebrate one of the most important bands in the world
Ariel Posen
For Ariel Posen, songwriting and guitar playing have always gone hand-in-hand. He's spent a decade building a bridge between those two worlds, balancing his work as a hotshot instrumentalist — including collaborations with everyone from John Mayer to Tom Jones — with solo albums rooted in melody and autobiographical storytelling. The result is a career that's every bit as diverse as his music. With performances at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival, his own Fender Stratocaster signature model, and a powerful voice that matches his fretwork, Posen explores uncharted territory, blurring the lines between genre and generation along the way.
On his latest release, Bannatyne, that exploration leads Posen back to the place where everything began. Named after an avenue in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, it's a record about reexamining one's past in order to fully appreciate the present. Woven into the album's 12 songs are larger-than-life riffs and upbeat tempos (a nod to the 1990s rock music that soundtracked Posen's childhood), along with the syncopated grooves and explorative, unexpected textures that have always steered his work. Equally influenced by the raw energy of his live shows — where Posen has been known to plug in and stretch out, showcasing the chops that prompted Rolling Stone to call him "a modern-day guitar hero" — and the tight craft of his songwriting, Bannatyne is a full-circle snapshot of an artist in evolution, chasing down new horizons while still honouring his musical roots.
"This is an album about coming home," says Posen, who played guitar for hometown pals, The Bros. Landreth — earning a Juno Award along the way — before launching his solo career with the critically-celebrated debut How Long. "It's about looking back and appreciating where you come from, even as you're heading somewhere new."
"Heading somewhere new" has been Posen's focus for years, ever since How Long introduced his blend of soulful rock & roll, R&B, and amplified Americana in 2019. Follow-up releases like Headway and Reasons Why widened that sound considerably, while the Mile End project — a trio of records filled with improvised guitar instrumentals — highlighted a different form of expression. Bannatyne covers new ground, too. There are appearances by fellow Canadian exports City and Colour (who appears on the gritty, grooving "Empty-Handed") and Kathleen Edwards (who shares vocal duties with Posen on the sparse, slow-burning love song "More Me With You"). There are seize-the-day anthems like "Future Present Tense," punctuated by layered harmonies and bursts of fuzz guitar. There are alternate guitar tunings, smoothly-sung vocals, and lyrics about the homes we all leave behind, delivered by a road warrior who's been carving out his signature sound with every album. It's a powerful mix, and while Posen has never been shy about honouring his influences, the album simply sounds like him.
"Every record is the sound of me finding myself, more and more," he says. "I'm not just a songwriter and I'm not just a guitarist. I'm both of those things. I'm taking these worlds that I feel very connected to, and I'm combining them together, leaning in either direction whenever I want. With Bannatyne, the idea was to be a little dirtier, rawer, and unpolished in my performances. I didn't worry about chasing absolute perfection and cleanliness. I just stuck with whatever felt right."
Co-produced by Posen and longtime collaborator Murray Pulver, Bannatyne certainly feels right. This is Posen's unique vision of electrified roots music: song-driven, fretwork-fueled, and unmistakably his own.

Fronted by Richard Jobson’s commanding vocals and the late Stuart Adamson’s (Big Country) innovative guitar work, the band earned both critical acclaim and a devoted following. Despite lineup changes over the decades, The Skids continue to play with the same passion and energy that first set them apart—and impressively, they are still touring today.

SON OF DAVE
Son of Dave is a Bluesman. Not traditional, but has begun a new tradition perhaps. Playing harmonica, layering up beatbox grooves, stomping and playing percussion, then writing passionate growling infectious songs overtop, he defies category. A truly maverick Bluesman.
He comes originally from Winnipeg Canada (born Benjamin Darvill). He’s been based out of London U.K. for over twenty years. He’s toured all over Europe and North America as well as more off centre countries such as Uganda, South Africa, Lebanon, Russia and more. His one-man show is fun and unforgettable.
Many have come to find Son of Dave tunes through programs like Breaking Bad, Preacher, Bloodline and others where his unique songs have featured.
As a young harmonica player he worked in the Blues and biker bars of Manitoba. Being nurtured in the tradition of Midwest Blues and Canadian folk music, he joined Crash Test Dummies at it’s beginnings and rode that wave for four albums and ten years until returning to his more humble, rhythmic desires and the tunes he’d been working on through those dizzying years. The music business almost crumbled with the switch to digital, but Son found a path through the old fashioned way, playing clubs and building an audience from scratch. He’s recordings found their way to millions of fans without the backing of a big label or hit machine.
Embarking on a year of singles, EPs and an inevitable 9th album, at 52 years of age, there is no sign of slowing down. Well, the knees an back aren’t what they used to be…

Multiple acclaimed albums, including FM and Swimming Lessons, have seen them chart internationally and tour across the USA, Europe and Japan. Written in the aftermath of touring and personal upheaval, the record captures the tension between inner chaos and outward calm, transforming white-knuckle anxiety into something powerful and confrontational.
Recorded live with Grammy-nominated producer Claudius Mittendorfer, Real Deal channels the band’s explosive stage presence: dynamic shifts, serrated guitars, thunderous drums and moments of stark vulnerability. Lyrically sharper and more self-aware, these songs lean into character and storytelling while holding a mirror to loneliness, rage and acceptance.
Intense, honest and unafraid to unravel, Honeyglaze reintroduce themselves with a record that feels raw, immediate and thrillingly alive..

THE Moonlandingz
SHOW POSTPONED: RESCHEDULED DATE TBA
A tale of a female fan stalking her favorite singer, Johnny Rocket, of her favorite band, the outer space rockabilly Moonlandingz, the ERC needed someone to play the band, so they brought in Saul Adamczewski and Lias Saoudi of Fat White Family to help out. They recorded an EP to go along with the album and then, buoyed by the experience, everyone involved decided to take it one step further and make the Moonlandingz a real live band. The resulting album, Interplanetary Class Classics, was released in early 2017 on Chimera Music. They toured the U.K. and Europe, then released the This Cities Undone EP late in the year. Their last shows of 2017 were billed as possibly their last ever, as the bandmembers resolved to return to their regular gigs. Their record label wasn’t ready to say goodbye, however, and in early 2018 released a deluxe edition of Interplanetary Class Classics that came with a second disc of remixes, demos, and stray tracks.
In 2025, they have returned with a new album, No Rocket Required.
No Rocket Required delivers brassy squawks, motorik convulsions and sinister soothing vocals from a righteous line-up of guest singers and ranters: Nadine Shah, Iggy Pop, Jessica Winter and Trainspotting actor Ewen Bremner. Plus, of course, there’s The Moonlandingz’ own front man, Johnny Rocket aka Lias Saoudi, who has the wobbly-horny voice of R Whites’ secret lemonade drinker on new single “Give Me More” and then becomes basically Kris Kristofferson of the Pennines in the middle of epic “Krack Drought Suite”, imparting gnomic sawdust saloon wisdom from a barstool in Huddersfield. Mostly though he’s the man we know from Fat White Family, with gravelly crooning (to especially great effect in “Roustabout”, his duet with Nadine Shah) and camp working men’s club singer. Is that him, too, right at the end of the album, with a shonky German accent and vocodered to delirium over some thumping fizzing Scooterish techno? I do hope so.
On utterly lovely and gently jazzy single “It’s Where I’m From”, Iggy Pop offers a tender solidarity to us all, an appeal for softness – ‘won’t someone put their arms around me, I cannot take the pain of those who’ve gone / I’d like to put your world behind me, but everywhere I look is where I’m from’ – with that guileless grandiose vulnerability that sits alongside latter-day Johnny Cash and Scott Walker.
So much is packed in to No Rocket Required, by Adrian Flanagan and Dean Honer and all their musical and beautiful collaborators, and somehow it is cosmic on a human scale, Carl Sagan admiring the hectic carpets in a vommy town-centre disco.
INVERSION
Inversion present their first headline gig with support from Ginkco, The Voltares, and Josie Taylor.
