Born during the pandemic, The Karma Effect realise their full vision with their third album Cruel Intentions — a leaner, louder, and more ambitious statement of modern vintage rock ’n’ roll, FFO Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, and Bad Company. Led by vocalist Henry Gottelier, the refreshed line-up recorded the album in an intense month-long session at The Hive Rooms in July 2025. Blending swagger, dark passion, and tongue-in-cheek energy, the record explores themes of love, lust, and danger. Collaborative and full of personality, Cruel Intentions captures a band hitting their stride with confidence, grit, and a larger-than-life sound.
