ARXX (pronounced "Arks") are an acclaimed queer Brighton-based garage rock and power-pop duo, composed of best friends Hanni Pidduck (guitar/vocals, they/them) and Clara Townsend (drums/percussion, she/her). Known for their high-energy, DIY ethos and commitment to spreading "queer joy," the band has transitioned from a buzzy underground act to a prominent force in the UK indie scene.

Being an artist on the rise, they have received lots of support from BBC Introducing, and their previous releases have been played upwards of 15 times on BBC Radio 1. Their releases prior to “Something That Matters” include “Nadiya,” “Easier Said (Than Done),” and “American Football.” Having a more alt-pop/pop-rock sound, crysometimes has a sound similar to acts like Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo, boygenius, and Avril Lavigne.
