Peggy Brown

Ornamental queen and dotwork dream Peggy specialises in anything decorative, floral and patterned. From mandala sleeves to adorable flower flash to blackwork back pieces – Peggy’s your gal.

Esme Baker 

Head honcho Esme founded this lil studio in 2015 and specialises in illustrative blackwork. She loves anything surreal, creepy, lewd, gothic, conspiratorial or extraterrestrial themed, so hit her up with your weirdo requests. 

Esme usually works with a minimum of a 6 month waiting list so please bare this in mind when sending your enquiries!

Terms and Conditions:

Please take note of a few important points we need every client to understand:

1. Anyone under the age of 25 must bring valid photo ID.

2. Clients will be denied their appointment and will lose their deposit if it is revealed on the day that they:

1 Are pregnant or breastfeeding

2 Are under the age of 18

3 Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

4 Have any skin condition affecting the skin so much it is deemed inappropriate to tattoo upon, i.e. severe eczema or psoriasis directly on the area they intend to have tattooed

5 Have any contagious medical condition that poses a serious risk to the employees at the studio.

6 We reserve the right to withhold our services from anyone who we believe to be unsuitable for this procedure for any other reason not afore mentioned.

3.       Numbing cream

1   We do not sell or recommend numbing cream.

2   If you supply your own numbing cream, we will only agree to tattoo you if it is either Emla or Ametop. It must be applied before the appointment as we can not wait for it to take effect during the allocated appointment time. We will refuse to tattoo over skin numbed by any other brand.

4. Deposits

1 Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance.

2 After payment of a deposit, the date of the appointment may only be changed or cancelled if 48 hours notice is given, otherwise the deposit is lost.

3 If 48 hours notice is given, your deposit will be refunded in the form of a voucher. We do not under any circumstances refund deposits in cash.

4 Provisional bookings may be taken over the phone or via email but they will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received. The provisional booking is cancelled if a deposit is not received within 48 hours of making the appointment.

5Your appointment time includes set up, break down and application of the stencil, not simply needle time.

5. 10% student discount will only be applied after presentation of a valid student photo ID.

6. Please note: Boileroom Tattoo is a separate company from The Boileroom. The Boileroom cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from obtaining a tattoo. Any grievances must be directed to the director of Boileroom Tattoo; Esme Baker.
