GU1 PUNX put wicked-cool punk and hardcore (and everything outside and inbetween) shows in all sorts of weird and wonderful places around Guildford, London, Brighton and Kingston.
A management and promotions company, birthed in Guildford. Momager to Joey Fourr (Tubelord) and Sports Team, playing host to shows across the South and working closely with Vice in London.

QUATRE FEMMES RECORDS
Quatre Femmes Records was founded in 2013 by Alan Clark, in order to release the music of his daughters, Hannah Lou Clark, and Charlotte Clark. It is now run by the whole family based in Hampshire, where the music scene is vibrant, and they continue to collaborate with innovative local artists.
Massive Promotions are a Rock/Alt/Metal promoter based in Guildford. Formed in 2016 by Andy and Alex Masson, Massive aims to bring fans a gut-wrenching experience of bands, beers and riffs with every night they put on. Bringing you the best Rock, Alt and Metal bands that this sorry state of a country has to offer, Massive Promotions will be sure to leave your ears ringing and your head spinning!
thnksfrthrvw is a creative and independent blog, with an appreciation for the biggest names and those just starting out. Spanning all areas of the creative scene like music, film, fashion and more, they bring original and honest reviews, interviews and interactive/handmade zines that have led to accreditations for some of the UK’s (and beyond) biggest artists and festivals.

Jasta 11 are live music promoters formed out of the ashes of Cherrysoda and The Shed putting on great bands in Surrey and Hampshire Having already put on such amazing bands and artists as Biffy Clyro, Buzzcocks, Carter USM, Bouncing Souls, Max Raptor, U.K. Subs and many more our aim is to give you more great gigs to go to, as well as nurturing local talent.

M.R EVENTS GROUP
M.R.Event.Group is an independent event company based in Hampshire and we Support Grime, Bass and many more styles of music. We work with venues in Guildford, Brighton and London.
Rose Coloured are an independant supporter of the local music scene in Surrey and Hampshire. Beginning as a blog to share local music in 2012, they have gone on to put on and promote nearly 50 gigs, organise a couple of tours and release 11 records (including 2 on vinyl). All with supporting grass music in our area at the heart of everything.
THIS IS NOT REVOLUTION ROCK
This Is Not Revolution Rock is a promotions company based in SW London which has been around in various forms for the last 10 years. Specialising mostly in the math-rock, they have looked to always book quality lineups while endeavouring to help local, burgeoning acts whenever possible.
Get Rocking run their Join a Band course for mature musicians who’ve always wanted to be in a band and play a gig. They also run guitar clubs and courses with author Howard Johnstone, and Vocal Performance Weekends with 80’s singer/songwriter Owen Paul.
Whatever your age or ability, Play Live can help you to perform. With courses, workshops and lessons for everyone, you can take your playing to the stage at one of our showcase events. Whether you are aged 10-17 and would like to meet up every week with other musicians to play and sing, or have been around rather longer and have less time to rehearse, we can help you to learn a set of music to suit your abilities and your interests.
Youth music programme offering a platform for young people beginning their musical journey to hone their live performance skills. Monthly showcases at the Boileroom with mentoring from professional musicians; plus Artist Development Days with music industry professionals to help fledgling acts progress and begin careers in the music industry.

Guildford’s leading amateur theatre company will be collaborating on the Theatre and literary tent, bringing a variety of short performances.
Guildford’s heritage theatre are bringing to life a classic tale of adventure and magic with a new adaptation of The Secret Garden.“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
The arts scene in Guildford is vibrant and varied, and four of those arts providers are rather excited to celebrate their significant milestones with you. With a cumulative 75 years’ experience of creating and supporting art in Guildford, The Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford Shakespeare Company, The Boileroom, and G:Live have decided to join forces to introduce Together We Make More: an integrated arts programme bringing an inclusive and creative workshop to Always the Sun.
Sunday Assembly Guildford:
Providing inspiring, thought-provoking and practical ideas that help people to live the lives they want to lead and be the people they want to be. Assemblies are communities of action building lives of purpose, encouraging us all to help anyone who needs it to support each other. Join Sunday Assembly for a morning session of singing and celebrating life within our community.
Cinema is all about living in the magical movie moment. Social Cinema is an evolution of cinematic euphoria, screening ‘movies with meaning to get your cinematic minds thinking. Enjoy a short documentary and join in on the discussion.
Street Vibes Dance School:
STREET VIBES is the first specialised street dance school to open in Surrey and is now one of the biggest dance schools in the UK covering all main urban styles. Be captivated by Street vibes performance – vibrant and explosive movement.
A waxing lyrical collective of spoken word poets, bringing purpose to performance with thought-provoking subject matters.

A musical project started by Andrew Ford in collaboration with James Duff. The project aims to bring a little bit of peace and comfort to an otherwise frantic world. Inner Pieces was born out of a desire to help people through music. Helping the listener to find peace through music meditation.
Local spiritual group Eden people will be holding a space for mind, body and wellbeing. With beanbags, hand and foot massages; and creative activities aimed to improve your spiritual wellbeing will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

An interactive experience where punters can engage in various experiments to discover philosophical truths and become BETTER HUMANS wink wink. Among many other tools of discovery are the Incredible Insecurity Annihilator, the Cannon of Regret, and the Sensational Self-o-scope, along with other silly one-on-one experiences!

A roaming theatre piece that involves collecting rubbish and interacting with festival goers, spreading a deeper message of disposing waste responsibly.
Roo Urban Art
Watch some live art as local graffiti artist Roo creates a masterpiece before your eyes utilizing a large spectrum of colours.
Learn and play with musical pom poms and other interesting sensory objects with Artist Sam Topley and professional musician Erika Footman.

Synergy Dance provide inclusive, creative, fun and effective mixed dance classes for infants, juniors and teens.

The Crafty Peacock:
Learn your warp from your weft at our workshops of creative wonder – join us for some yarnbombing with Lady Wulbits; to ceramics, jewellery, and painting – our practitioners will be on-hand to show you the way at our Craft Club tent.
For appreciators of all things handmade and vintage there’ll also be various stalls sprouting between the House of Hatha and The Crafty Peacock areas to peruse; selling women and men’s clothing, accessories, homewares, pre-loved, up cycled and inspired by yesteryear.
Peas and Needles
Weaving is a fast-growing trend, well known for its therapeutic tendencies and allows you to play with texture and colour culminating in the creation of your own wall hanging. Ideal for beginners to learn the basics and get stuck in!
Drag yourselves away from the screens and get creative with Boxhead Craft. Create a character from a blank box using your imagination and a diverse range of art products.
Gorilla Yarnbombing in the Flesh. Grab your crochet hooks, knitting needles and some wool and create something colourful for the whole community that will jazz up any urban environment.
Ruth will be leading an Always the Sun inspired large art project using peddles, that all ages can get involved with.
Learn and make aboriginal art with local practitioner Immy Evans. She will explain the inspiring history behind different cultures artistic heritage and guide you through making your own item to take home.
How to appreciate Art!
Walkabout theatre, giving people the tools they need to properly regard and enjoy a piece of art. We have a silly art questionnaire, a silly step-by-step safety guide to art, and interactive performers to guide you through the world of art.
Tap in to the right side of the brain and allow music to form pictures through your paintbrush. Allow yourself to be guided by the colourful shapes that you see in your mind.
Grow Wild is the UK’s biggest wild flower campaign, bringing people together to transform local spaces with native, pollinator-friendly wild flowers and plants. Get involved with their workshop where they will be showing you how you can grow your own wild flowers at home. Pick up a postcard and take home your own wildflower seeds to spread the horticultural word!
Everybody knows Lush are known for their beautiful scented, eco friendly and relaxing bath bombs. Find out how they are made with incredible all-natural ingredients and stunning colours.
Guildford Library; Makerspace
Guildford Library has just launched its own Makerspace and will be running an interactive fiction workshop where you can digitally choose your very own adventure through coding. What’s even more exciting is that the story will only develop as others add content.
Our good friends at the Halow Project charity will be running a selfie-mask making workshop. Make a funny festival face to wear around and see who wins the King of Fools!

The Outdoor Kitchen:
All five of the senses will come into play at the outdoor kitchen. A sumptuous banquet of tastes, smells and sights whipped up by a vanguard of local chefs.
Come and enjoy the spectacle at our outdoor kitchen area; which will be demoing some curious and downright delicious cuisine to titillate the taste buds.
There will also be a menagerie of street food stands nestled amongst the stages creating high quality, affordable dishes. Omnivores, carnivores, and pescetarians alike can have their pick in a variety of plates for all palates.
Guildford Bake off Competition
Local Great British Bake off contestant Stu Henshall will be judging Guildford’s very own bake off. So put your creative cooking skills to the test and invent something special to compete for the star prize!
Natural Cook Company
Local cooking collective are bringing basic cooking tips and tricks for the whole family to Always the Sun. Interact and learn how to create something fun and simple to dazzle friends and family with at home
Veganism for meat eaters
Spark your excitement for spices and herbs by learning how to cook delicious food that doesn’t have one ounce of cruelty in it. Plant based diets for the win (and light on your pocket).
Food for Thought
Our wonderful, local health food shop will be bringing an interactive cooking workshop that is good for your mind, spirit and body.
Local Masterchef finalist and restaurant owner Dan Britton with be creating a fine dining experience from food that that would usually be regarded as waste. Experience delicious food for less.
