NEWS JUST IN!February 28, 2014

We’ve had so many show announcements recently of all shapes and sizes we thought we’d put them all down here in a handy guide!

It’s no joke (excuse bad joke ha!) Toseland will be playing live here Tuesday 1st April! James Toseland began his full-time music career by collaborating with Little Angels legend Toby Jepson to write an album packed with hard/classic rock and power ballads. He’s used the grit, determination and will to succeed that made him a double world superbike champion to focus on pursuing his first passion in life: music. Tickets available here, here and here x

In date order, first up, after their sellout debut, ModernisM are back here on 17th April for another night of mod madness with By The Rivers! Local lads The Brompton Mix and Birdsworth will also be playing live, as well as ModernisM resident DJs Vince Synan and Joe Flanagan, plus special guests Elliot Gale and Neil Barker!

Wednesday 23rd April Blitz Kids are making a welcome return to the venue with tour cohorts Fort Hope and I Divide, tickets have just gone onsale for this one – they’ve all graced our stage before with some truly knockout performances, this one’s 14+ so the more the merrier! …After an amazing show here last July, it’s a real pleasure for us to have the sublime rising stars Catfish & The Bottlemen back here on 18th May, a band much in demand, on tour further afield as we type! They’ll be back here as part of a UK tour – catch them here in the intimate surrounds of the Boileroom before they go stellar!

These guys are set to hit the Boileroom later this month on the 27th of February, bringing rock to blues to even world music, amazing instrumental work  and a strong history to back, playing with the likes of Deep Purple, Jon Bonamassa, The John Butler Trio and Status Quo. On the 1st of March Dreadzone are bringing there ska folk electronic dance madness right here. This genre defying music saw there first hit song “Little Britain” make in to the top 40, they have had a huge influence on dance music over the years and are still one of the staple figures of the genre. Having recently released they’re 7th studio album the band will get the Boileroom up and jumping. For more information on the event click here.



This beautiful trio are arriving at the Boileroom on the 8th of March, acclaimed as one of the best and most talented acoustic band in the UK, bringing they’re alluring folk and blues/roots sounds to the Boileroom. This is one you don’t want to miss, two musical monsters playing together on a once only headline tour. Both having huge influences on ska, dub, punk, and two tone. Three piece alternative rock trio Let’s Talk Daggers are playing here on the 23rd of March. Showcasing heavy yet complex riffs that carry they’re head thumping songs. Obtaining great feedback from Kerrang and Scuzz, the band is gonna put on one hell of a show! To see more information and get your hands on tickets click here.



One of the UK’s best rising bands, Wolf Alice are set to bring a brilliantly harrowing show to the Boileroom. There alternative sound and rather ghostly reverb filled vocals will prove to be one of the Boileroom’s best shows in the coming months. Currently they’re on there extensive UK tour and the Boileroom is there destination on the 16th of May, make sure you can get there for this one! The second HAZARD metal/alt rock night is set to take place this Saturday 15th Feb. The Dead Lay Waiting are currently on their closing tour, meaning this is one of the last chances to catch the band at a live show! Winning numerous awards from Kerrang!, releasing two successful LP’s as well as performing at numerous festivals including Download, this is your last chance to catch their  lively and enthralling show!

Also in the line-up supporting The Dead Lay Waiting are the Resuscitators and Sceptra, both upcoming UK based metal/alt rock bands.


The HAZARD DJS Imperiux and Master 05 Sound will be filling the sound between the acts as well as providing music at the end of the night.

Also set for this weekend is the European Tour Collective’s line up of As It IsNightlife, and Miss Vincent. The headliners As It Is are a pop punk band based in Brighton, they’re currently on their UK tour alongside Nightlife and Miss Vincent. They have released 2 EP’s as well as an acoustic release after only 18 months of being together – they’re productive guys! With another new EP on the way they’ll be opening their tour strong here at the Boileroom on Sunday!

The first supporting act Nightlife are a London based pop rock band with 2 EP’s out, receiving positive reviews from Rock Sound Magazine they should be sure to deliver a cracker of a performance!

Next in the support line up is Miss Vincent, a punk rock band formed here in Guildford, they currently have released an EP named “creepy” which you can download for free now off their bandcamp page.
